The inauguration of Peking University School of Stomatology Overseas Alumni Association in North America (PKUSS-OAANA) was successfully launched on October 10th, 2011 during the ADA annual session in Las Vegas, NV, USA. More than 80 alumni, family and friends joined the inaugural reception hosted by Dean Tao Xu.
Dean Xu reviewed the historic achievement of our alma mater and introduced the current development and status of our school. All participants showed great enthusiasm for the opportunities of communication and collaboration between our beloved school and alumni through PKUSS-OAANA. Everyone was excited to meet old classmates and new friends at the gathering, and grateful for the opportunity to interact with each other. Alumni from San Francisco bay area graciously offered to host another reception next year for those who will attend ADA meeting in 2012, which will be held in San Francisco. Dean Xu expressed his gratitude to all those alumni who contributed to the establishment of the PKUSS-OAANA.
In the process of finalizing the structural and operational logistics of the PKUSS-OAANA, we would genuinely welcome your comments and suggestions for improving interactions with our alma mater and for enhancing communications amongst ourselves. With your full participation, such a platform will surely benefit our alumni and our school alike.

Happy Chinese New Year! The lunar year of dragon is coming to us! On behalf of your Alma Mater, I wish you and your beloved ones have a Happy Chinese New Year! May the Year of Dragon bring you joy, health and prosperity!
In the New Year, our school will continue making progress to move forward with stability and acceleration. We will focus on our strategic vision to develop people and encourage team work. We shall continue academic development for all subjects. We shall continue academic collaboration in an effort to broaden our horizon in all fronts, and more….
I am looking forward to your input and help to the further development of our school after the establishment of the overseas alumni association. I am sure you will do the best you can to show your support to your Alma Mater.
